“PR Power Services” (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides electrical services across the UK. Registered business details: [Registered Name], [Company Number], [Registered Address]. Main contact: info@prpowerservices.co.uk • Tel: +44 [your number].

2. Definitions

“Client” means the person or company ordering services. “Works” means the services and materials described in our quote or order confirmation. “Site” means the location where Works are carried out. “Quote” means our written price estimate or proposal.

3. Quotes & Pricing

  • Quotes are based on information available at survey time and are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.
  • Prices are exclusive of VAT unless shown; if applicable, VAT will be added at the prevailing rate.
  • Call-out, diagnostics and emergency rates may differ from standard rates and will be advised before attendance.
  • If hidden issues are discovered (e.g., unsafe or inaccessible wiring), we will discuss options and any cost changes with you before proceeding.

4. Bookings, Access & Site

  • Provisional dates are subject to change until a booking is confirmed in writing.
  • You must provide safe access to the Site, including clear working areas, power, water and parking where reasonably required.
  • We may refuse to start or may suspend Works if conditions are unsafe or access is restricted.

5. Changes & Extras

  • Any variation requested after acceptance of a Quote (scope, specification, finish, timing) must be agreed in writing and may affect price and timescale.
  • Unforeseen remedial Works required to meet safety or compliance will be raised with you and priced before proceeding.

6. Payments

  • Unless otherwise agreed, payment is due on completion of the Works. For larger projects we may require staged payments or a deposit.
  • We accept common payment methods; details provided on the invoice or booking confirmation.
  • Overdue amounts may accrue reasonable late fees and recovery costs. Certificates and warranties may be withheld until payment is received in full.

7. Cancellations & Delays

  • If you need to reschedule or cancel, please give at least 48 hours’ notice. Late cancellations may incur a call-out or restocking fee where applicable.
  • We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control (e.g., extreme weather, supplier shortages). We will keep you informed and rearrange as soon as possible.

8. Materials & Parts

  • Materials supplied by us remain our property until paid in full.
  • If you supply your own materials, we are not liable for their performance or any delays caused by defects or shortages.
  • We may substitute equivalent or superior products if specified items are unavailable, with your approval.

9. Warranty

  • We warrant our workmanship for 12 months from completion unless stated otherwise. Manufacturer warranties apply to products.
  • The warranty does not cover misuse, accidental damage, normal wear, alterations by others, or issues arising from pre-existing faults.

10. Liability

  • Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability which cannot legally be limited.
  • Subject to the above, we are not liable for indirect, consequential or purely economic loss. Our total liability shall not exceed the price paid for the Works.

11. Your Responsibilities

  • Obtain any required permissions (e.g., landlord, freeholder, planning) unless we have agreed in writing to do so.
  • Declare known hazards, asbestos, sensitive equipment, or special site rules before we start.
  • Ensure adults are present to grant access and make decisions during the Works.

12. Health & Safety

  • We work to relevant UK standards and regulations. Temporary isolation of power may be necessary during testing and installation.
  • Please keep children, pets and valuables away from working areas for safety and to prevent damage.

13. Photos & Marketing

With your permission, we may take photographs of completed Works for our records and marketing. We will not publish identifiable personal data or addresses without consent.

14. Data & Privacy

We handle your personal data in line with our Privacy Policy. We use your details to manage quotes, bookings, invoicing and warranties. For full details see our Privacy Policy.

15. Complaints

If something isn’t right, please contact us within 7 days of completion and we will aim to resolve it promptly. Email info@prpowerservices.co.uk with your job reference and details.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
